Biography
Peter’s lifelong passion for animals began in childhood. So great was his enthusiasm that, as family legend has it, he had to be checked over before entering the house, just in case he had secretly brought home another creature, be it an insect, reptile, or small mammal. This early fascination with the natural world set the course for his future.
Although he initially trained as an electrical engineer and began his career at the local railway depot, Peter soon realised this wasn’t his true calling. Determined to follow his passion, he went on to run a successful exotic pet store, working hands on with hundreds of species of insects, invertebrates, reptiles, and more. It was during this time that he discovered falconry, a discipline that would capture his heart and ultimately shape his career.
Peter immersed himself fully in the traditions and skills of falconry, dedicating years to studying, training, and flying birds of prey. His expertise grew to the point where he was asked to provide bird control services for the very railway he once worked for. This experience not only reinforced his capabilities but also developed a specialist skill set that would prove essential to the future of Sky Raiders.
When Peter met Daniel, it was immediately clear that their complementary skills formed the perfect partnership. Peter’s deep knowledge of animal behaviour and falconry, combined with Daniel’s technical and business expertise, created the strong foundation upon which Sky Raiders was built. Together, they share a commitment to delivering the highest standards of service, professionalism, and innovation in the field of bird and pest control.
