Biography
Jester is a male Peregrine Falcon, known in falconry as a tiercel, from the Latin for “one third,” reflecting the fact that males are around a third smaller than females. Compact, sharp, and highly driven, Jester is a specialist in managing smaller pest bird species across open outdoor environments such as farmland, airports, and coastal areas.
Small in Size, Enormous in Speed
Flying at just 1lb 2.5oz, Jester is currently one of the smallest members of the Sky Raiders team, but his dedication is unmatched. He holds the record for our falcons, reaching an incredible 112mph during a stoop from 1,000 feet. His aerial ability and lightning-fast pursuit make him an exceptional deterrent for agile pest birds that demand precision control.
Jester has also built an impressive résumé through his winter falconry work, travelling across the UK to the Scottish Highlands, the Yorkshire Moors, and beyond. Wherever he flies, his speed, agility, and commitment to the task mark him out as a true standout in the Sky Raiders line-up.
